Dear Fellow Chutzpanim,
I was lucky enough to go to a jam session a few weeks back... Everyone there were extremely talented; the towarzysz and I had a wonderful time. People took turns playing two or three songs throughout the night, then it turned into a great jam session with many different people contributing.
There was however one lady who thought we were all quite lucky to see her perform her five back-to-back improvisational moanings, described by her as "World Music." Check out my most favorite of her overtures, "The World is Round a Monkey:"
Now, most of you must be absolutely be blown away at this moment, and desire more. Don't worry, she did not stop for a long, long time. Her next masterpiece was inspired by someone asking if she knew any Hindi songs. She said, no, she didn't know what Hindi sounded like, but she would give a try anyways:
After this song, she played a few more... unfortunately, I was too blown away to continue recording, so I spent the time in nirvana-esque bliss, re-evaluating my eternal soul and all that jazz. During this time she demanded that some people join her on stage, after which they assumed they would be next. When she returned from the bathroom (presumably in deep conversation with Ha-Shem or some eastern analogue), she screamed, "No, it's my turn!", grabbing the mic. After this joyful interlude she played another hit improv, jammin' it out with some hugely talented people:
It really was a great time, and I actually enjoyed seeing such a strong Chutzpanit prophetize the monkey. You really can't beat the chutzpanim kind of entertainment.
